I don't think the BOD would want a rapid rise is the SP as the comeback story has a few risks (lower lending volumes, AUSTRAC, aust economy post slashed welfare). I think the AUSTRAC risk is minimal in the longer term as the Libs will soon do away with consumer lending laws (and improved lending risk management) but the others are critical as they are a true reflection of core business. The 1c dividend is a good start, building up to a larger dividend once business fundamentals are a bit more settled.
