I know what you mean, but between the release of that article and today there has been SP growth from 22 to 29c + a dividend announcement. I am unsure why people would hold for 3 months & miss out on a dividend (even if you factor in that the market is basically asleep between mid dec to late jan) when the situation has not changed at all. Plus the latest release from CCV indicated improved risk measures (no doubt in consultation with AUSTRAC) so I think it may be more of a cooperative effort than the banks (I think it was either NAB or Westpac that basically gave AUSTRAC the finger).
Anyway, I guess time will tell.
