Well they might "grow the assets" but share price appreciation over the last 10 years is negligible so unless they review their dividend policy or do a buyback where do the actual returns to shareholders come from?
I bought in opportunistically at a low point and have kept my exposure relatively modest so not too fussed but when they're sitting on such a large discount to NTA and there's little demand for CIN shares even on a day like today when the market is booming then I'd say this reflects very poorly on management.
The discount to NTA is trading like some run down REIT expecting a downgrade in assets, not a low cost LIC with solid holdings in mostly blue chip companies.
