Daily movements are random, it is the long term trend that is more relevant.
On that note it is interesting that the SP has barely moved over a year. Reminds of the period of April 2014 - April 2016 where almost nothing happened to the SP, (if I recall dividends were reduced as well, due to some event which escapes me now) and following that it nearly doubled in the next 18 months.
