Software subscription sales weren't mentioned and that is the most important part of a distributors cash flow
Hardware requires stock to be held, factory storage, employees to pick the stock, out of date stock can be sold at a loss, arrange delivery ....... Software orders can be done through the Dickerdata website electronically with very few overheads.
I believe that's were the profit is however I don't know the margins involved
