14th October, 2025 is the official end of support date. Most large orgs will want to be off by then, as any subsequent vulnerabilities won't necessarily be patched in a reasonable timeframe.
They may upgrade some newer ones just by rolling out a patch. But the laptop lease time is usually 3-4years, so likely it's worth swapping them out.
