If you draw a comparison between every one of the REIT's that you've noted and then include VAP, which one do you guys think has had the greatest appreciation in Share price over 1, 5 & 10 years?
I think you know the answer. But hang on...the (many) REIT's that you hold pay a higher distribution. Correct?
Not only that (I hear you say), but VAP is too concentrated in GMG. That much is true. But if you bought VAP during the October lows of 2022 & 2023 when no one wanted to touch REIT's, you'd have made a motza and be holding a chunky share in what is clearly the stand out REIT in the sector and be collecting a solid distribution with a single MER cost of 0.23%. It's like owning Goodman Group on a 5% yield.
Have you guys added up your MER for each of the REIT's you hold (compounding YoY).

I owned WPR years ago. Selling it was almost the best thing I ever did. Buying VAP in that particular sector was the best thing I've done.
