that is true... most shares are costly to purchase now. Just bought small parcel in SNC which has now declared quarterly dividend unlike traditional LIC that pays half yearly. They said to have 4 year reserve which is ample time to adjust if needed.
i bought at 52 week high so bit risky but quarterly dividend is way to go then stuck with six monthly. Ex-Date is 18th Feb so I get some cashback in month time which is good. There are few LIC now going for quarterly dividend may be to compete with ETF.
i will watch ddr from distance as SNC took that fund for time being.
