I'm in favour of the quarterly updates and certainly they should have communicated a change to the broader market (I know that a lot of us on this forum were looking out for that, but listening to a podcast, it seems some institutional clients were aware of the change, so that to me seems inherently poor behaviour).
Having said that, in the 2 main portfolios that I have purchased DDR (both ~2018), this has returned between 24-27% pa per sharesight (inclusive of dividends of 8-9%). Perhaps I have been fortunate with timing, but what I have learnt is that businesses don't operate on a linear basis (even if they are not cyclical businesses....covid for example), and those owners/managers that have had a track record of looking after shareholders can and should be given some rope (especially when we talking about 12-18 mths post covid after purchasing a couple of businesses).
Also, we are free to take our money elsewhere....although if DDR is the weakest holding you have, then please post some names from your portfolio as this name is the least of my worries.
