Taking Board intentions as stated should not be flawed analysis as you put it!
Board missed big opportunity to put a semi permanent floor under sp, imo.
With IOP strong into second half, now would of been the ideal time to send strong message to market about their intention to support sp.
They should of taken opportunity to go a little above guidance with a 25c divy imo.
Volume a little down (as we knew) main reason for some to be dissappointed with half results, not me!
Good half under circumstances more than likely strong second half underway.
Maybe the strong second half will provide management and Board the opportunity to reconcile its stated objective with its actions, alot of damage done to credability with this divy?
As for supporting sp?
Forget it!
No floor under this now.
Market has no idea what's coming next, market treats insecurity with distain.
Under guidance?
Strange.
