True, albeit, for some, there may be approx 32c per share in franking credits if they fall under the exclusions of the 45 day rule (< $5k franking credits), and then on top of that, isn't there potential tax benefits that come with realising a capital loss should one have gains to apply it to? Though I guess, in this market, at this rate, one might be hard pressed to have an immediate capital gain in this FY!!
