An Interim Dividend is paid on a current HY 6 months (of the FY) earnings, a Final Dividend is paid after all accounting adjustments for the Full Year are identified, effectively its the dotted I’s and crossed T’s of a companies audited books that confirm Tax position, cash flow etc…
