your example of free carry works if everyone in hindsight do the right thing but in reality most retail investor loose with trading ... in my opinion... ! insto always win and they can influence price however they wanted... classic example is recently with AX1 ... price went up after poor books and only to drop down after few days
same with FMG none of the comment by anyone (positive, negative, neutral) decide FMG price movement as it is only Insto who can decide where the price goes for FMG and for that matter any stock in my opinion... that is why more and more people joining ETF ... !
