Tell them to look at the asx.com.au web site then search dividends and type in FMG.
Ex Div date is Sept 5
Record date is Sept 6
Payment date is Sept 29
Franking credits are gold to me.
Pay far less tax if anything.
Many I know have FMG,RIO and BHP and the franking credits are the wow factor here.
Shares may drop after the dividend which seems to happen quite often except last time but
the franking credits are well worth it.
