    No, you don't get paid the franking credits at all.

    At tax time, usually you would have to pay a bunch of tax on the dividends you received. Luckily, Fortescue has already paid some (or all) of that tax for you. So it's not a payment that goes into your pocket, it's just an amount you avoid paying at tax time.

    *the exception is if you're retired and/or have a very low income, you'll get some of those franking credits refunded because Fortescue has actually paid too much in your case
