B eing on the market for 25+ years I don't fuilly agree with your statement of "Things like the ex-dividend date, the dividend amount, the franking credit percentage, etc all have a huge impact on the share price and the price action around ex-div date." A more correct version should be "all may have an impact" instead of "all have a huge impact". Unfrotuarely there are too many other factors involved in the price impact around the ex-div date.
