It wasn't a "claim". It's a well known fact that its the season for employee options. The share price is up and down through the year regardless so what better time to be down than when it's time to reward the teams that you're getting a cheap ride off. The shares you already own are still going to pay a dividend so unless you intend to sell, (which you're not, going by your sentiment), you have nothing to be so bitter over.
