Absolutely, and that's what separates the people that get average returns vs above average returns. At some point one of two things must happen; 1: The share price catches up to the performance of the company, or 2: The company catches up to the performance of the share price.
Option 2 means there is some unknown catalyst that will at some point make itself apparent, and explain why the share price is depressed.
