If UG mining needs A$100m, by all means set that aside. But setting all of the A$500m (...now likely closer to A$600m ...) ... hmmmm, Really?
Well that would depend on the cost of funding for whatever share of SD they go with , should they go ahead at all...I very much doubt $500m would come anywhere near it...
Assuming it does go ahead the more cash they retain the more options they simply didn't have not that long ago now become avaliable and IMO thats what its all about. This unexpected windfall has changed the picture.
We all see it differently and that's why management will only make some shareholders happy and piss others off..
