Uhh... what?

No one is questioning the numbers, the issue is that the company lucked into a once in a decade boom in their main commodity and then failed to adequately reward those who have held them through thick and thin.

I don't think anyone would care if they also alongside the dividend announcement declared in plain words what their plans for the funds being retained are intended to be used for, but being met with silence is what annoys most people.

Regular & clear communication is a key part of being a listed company, if companies don't want to be accountable and keep all their cash to themselves then they shouldn't be putting their hands out to the public and should stay private. That isn't just applicable to GRR, but to all listed companies.
