When was the last company announcement that was a positive surprise?
It is consistently disappointing the market. Production issues, costs, acquisitions followed by downgrades, proxy fights...I'm sure there's more.
Holders (like me) point to valuation, how cheap it is, cashflow etc etc but every time they report to market there is a dimunition to valuation attached.
So it keeps looking cheap but value seems to follow the share price.
Desperately need a circuit breaker. Many thought the dividend would be the thing, but nope, that's just turning capital into income. Doesn't help.
