Stupid theory - why the late night announcement, jumping in before PLS? Early 8am investor call.
Imagine a PLS x MIN merger announced. Chris would never share control so fanciful.
BUT Would be a great combo. Boost balance sheet for MIN, diversify PLS. Also explains PLS building out the downstream while during the same period MIN focused on upstream gathering the rock eg. DLI, WC8, GL1 etc…
