Latest monthly dividend of 0.87c = 10.44c for a year. Latest NTA is 201.12c, so yield is 5.19% or 5.22% on the IPO of 200c. While 0.87c was the lowest payment since last September, the yields do jump around. The yields since then have been:- Oct 5.40%, Nov 7.20%, Dec 5.34%, Jan 6.48%,Feb 5.76%, Mar 6.78% Apr 6.00%.
Considering the best term deposit rates currently available ( eg. 1 yr 2.75%, 5 yr 3.00% and both heading lower) I reckon even 5.19% isn't too bad.
