You have may of jumped the gun a bit early on your sale. These people agree with you and me that Aussie banks over the long term are not buy and hold forever shares. Some of them bar CBA have taken a decade to recover from big losses but they like me agree that NAB still has not reached its peak and they have not been making the same mistakes of the past so I believe they have a vastly superior management team this time around.
