NABPD is tradeable every day on the ASX. NABPD is a hybrid which is part of the capital structure of NAB. It is not a means to distribute profits away from NAB shareholders. It is higher up the ‘food chain’ and holders of the hybrid will be paid before the ordinary shareholders of NAB. There is nothing unusual in any of this: all Banks issue Hybrids as do many Companies.,
