Just listened to soul ceo on their NHC investment. This is my interpretation or understanding of what he said as I don't like quoting any ceo relying on my memory.
When asked about the potential anglo QLD acquisition imo he seemed to brush it off and suggest it was to big for NHC. He went on to suggest NHC is gearing to double organic growth from 700m tons to 1400 m tons over the next 3 to 4 years resulting in a increased cash position. For me it gives me that warm cozy feeling doubling production and increasing NHC cash position over next 3 to 4 years and knowing its lowering emissions as it replaces lower quality coal as global emissions targets introduced as BHP suggested. Hope my div follows the production trend.
He was not asked about the $300m rights issue.
