At the briefing, CEO Mr Peter Wilson said 14 new branches had been added in Australia and 18 new ones in the USA. A further 5-10 new USA branches are expected in 2H 25.
10-15 new branches in the USA are the expectation in each FY.
Margin compression is continuing, said the CFO Andy Young.
In the USA sunbelt, soft residential construction is apparent.
In A & NZ, REH expects continuing softening. No change to volume settings, plus fewer trading days in 2H 25.
In the USA, there hasn't been mortgage rate reductions.
REH looks 'beyond the cycle' to grow its business.
