Why should going ex dividend take $10 off the price? The dividend is $7.60 AUS including the special dividend not $7.60 US! I presume you are not basing your figure on the erroneous assertions earlier in this thread that the dividend is $10.00. Of course it might open that low given the spookiness around iron ore futures but time will tell.
