Are you sure you're not more interested in the EX dividend date? SCG traded ex Dividend (EXcluding the 0.07c dividend) yesterday (Friday), probably why it dropped a few cents?
I suggest using the ASX announcement as your first point of reference and then looking up any terms you're unfamiliar with.
