Morningstar’s “real” fair value is $8.30 and has been for some time. Their analysis was updated on 9 May and the fair value didn’t change. The Analyst who covers SIQ for Morningstar is generally Mr Pessimism, so I don’t see it being over quoted. Also Morningstar is not an investment bank so doesn’t do capital raises or work for companies. It is an advisory group supplying paid analysis to retail investors as well as working with institutions etc to provide research, investment solutions etc.
None of this means the share price can’t drop to $7 - if people get miserable, lose faith and sell out of course it will drop. Long term the price will depend on the performance they deliver.
