My key takeaway from the meeting was the reduction of the large cap portfolio inherited from Milton and the clear intention to further reduce this going forward. Personally I'm pleased with this as I've been a little unsure on whether they intended to look more like a conventional LIC or to work back towards looking like the historical version of SOL with a smaller group of significant non correlated investment. I think this is a good way to go as it gives them clear differentiation in the market.
