IMHO, the earlier weakness was quite telling 8nti the rally. not later today, but at some point, that weakness will come back. in other words, the bearish resistance will Trump the bullish resistance at some point and it will skew downwards from a T/ A perspective, pending any F/A changes which of course will outweigh the T/A.
also, global insurers are seen as better value than the Australian domestics: SUN, IAG and QBE. An ALP victory is seen as a considerable negative for Australian domestics and money should go to global insurers as opposed to Aussie ones based on the ALP policy.
