Yes - agreed it was a good move.
BUT - Special div will simply return cash. Nothing to do with the intrinsic value or long term prospects of the company.
So don't quite understand the other poster to the thread and the 6 x posts on the dividend yield and parroting the XD dates etc.
Wasn't much in the results other than what had already been communicated to the market. Perhaps the big difference was the zooming in Property and stripping out all of the other initiatives that they have looked out in past 24 months. Back to a pure property play.
Some guidance on expenses (on the trimmed down TOT) would be helpful - assume staff costs to be 50% down (and revenue too!) for FY23 - just a loose estimate though.... nothing more.
