Did u hear any comments, reasons or aims for promoting the buyback!
Vagueness Is an advantage for the board…..the theoretical concept may work for in WBC but it is blatantly designed to benefits the T20 institution and professional investors.
The board has a responsibility to consider the fairness of distributing excess funds to all shareholders not designing a return of capital that was promoted by institutions as self interest.
Its a con job saying that mum and dad investors have a right in participating in the buyback….most are passive investors who haven’t a clue what is going on.
