Thanks for the unsolicited critique, but on the contrary, you missed the point entirely. That is, these majors (exc CBA- non holder), especially WBC are not modern-day banks, just 1970's type, trying to exist in the 21st century, with the declining dividends, and yet to regain or increase historical sp, even unadjusted by compounding inflation. The previous CEO, was recruited as a reformist, failed miserably on every metric. The four majors, parading around as a poster child of the free market economy, are anything but that, pampered and protected by all Govts, despite decades of scandals, Inquiries, and the odd Royal Commission.
