i invest in bank with 100% ability to understand that I am not investing in IVV or QQQ or NVIDIA ...!
i am investing in boring business with limited or negligible ability to grow (into new business type) ..! So bank stock price always going to play within range and it will be rare when any bank can end-up being CBA and comes out of that range.
what matter is solid Dividend history of payment every six months....as below...!
so as long as I get my $2 dividend year on year then I don't give rats about share price or profits up or down as long as the business not losing huge losses and shows potential to be AMP...!
current miss in NIM or revenue or NPAT is also not that significant which warrants selling and running for the hill for me personally.
the banks dividend yield including franking even at today's closing price is 6.69% which is much better than what I could get from banks and much better if RBA reduce rates further down..!
in next 5 if not 4 years I will free carr WBC and as long as bank exists after that I will get free money and after me my next generation !!!
While bank can go burst and I lose completely and hence to avoid this risk I keep reading results and reading news otherwise I mostly sleep on all four bank stock I hold (NAB, ANZ, WBC and BEN)..!
