This is so stupid it looks like someone is having a laugh. I wonder if the likes of Citygroup retrospectively analyse their own analysts' work and rate it for accuracy.

I recall reading on more than one occasion that statistical comparison of economists' and market analysts' predictions to actual outcomes, generally indicated they were no better than pure chance, and often a lot worse (reflecting bias, group-think etc).
