Good move. I am thinking that although WDS go ex div tomorrow , they will not not drop very much . Good oil and gas prices still , and some asset sales not far away so even if there is a div offset drop it won’t last long in my opinion . The only potential nasty is for the govt to announce a super profits tax but I don’t think even they are that stupid . People that want a super profits tax don’t seem to realise that two very large businesses have merged , so of course the profits are going to be much bigger and there is already the PRRT which is a super profits tax under another name. Anyway WDS are a great long term hold .
