sometimes you should just calculate the yield yourself, because most trading sites like commsec use a trailing yield based on last two dividends both of which were more then the 92c we are getting this time.
Last div was AU$1.24 current one is $0.92 so that is $2.16 for yield of 7.1% at current share price of $30.30. Even if we add in tax effect that is well short of 13%.
Now ask yourself what are the chance that the next dividend in September 2024 will be $1.24 ?
Perhaps it will be more like the current dividend of $0.92 that would be a yield of 6% on a share price of $30.30.
If the September 24 dividend is just AU$0.70 which would bring the yield down to 5.3%
