If you're holding shares at a loss, you should have every right to sell them and claim the loss. Buying them back makes no difference, because if they go up you have to pay the capital gains when you sell. The fact that the tax man wants you to sit on your loss, or completely walk away sucks! Nice Div announcement today, I definitely won't be selling any time soon.
