I'm no Greeny but I actually believe that we can achieve it.
Human beings are amazing when there is a genuine need and the right monetary/economic motivation is present. We all want clean(er) energy, air, water, food, environment, planet etc We cannot dispute that. But the "want" needs to be balanced out with economic reality... that's all.
It wasn't that long ago when everyone downloaded music and movies illegally. It was free, it was easy but look at where we are today. For a reasonable fee you can get Netflix, Spotify and a whole host of other platforms and services for it. It is easier, it is cheaper (time wise), you are not breaking any laws. The majority now like it the legal way. A similar shift in thinking and an economics that work to move the world towards clean energy.
