I would suggest a lot of disappointment is coming from traders that were looking to cash in on a big pump in price and then dump their stocks x div or the day before.
From a company perspective, if you’re looking to buy back one fifth of the shares, it would be smarter to do this at a lower price.
The ones losing their heads today are traders that don’t believe in the company- if they did, they would see that a cheaper buyback sets up the stage for truly huge returns given current conditions continue.
