Your executing broker will register the shares in your name but is always wise to check each transaction given the increased risks with digital settlements. As far as these share registries are concerned, especially CPU, who display open disdain and annoyance with retail shareholders, do not assume all is in order, as digital glitches may often occur, and your details may be impacted. My experiences with CPU on several holder enquiries are sheer exasperating. A few minutes checking your broker and sh records are worthwhile every now and then.
