Power cuts in major hydropower provinces again! There is no timetable for how long the limit will be, and some companies will reduce their production capacity by 40%!

Abundant hydropower resources have made Yunnan attract a large number of high-power-consuming industries to start production with its low electricity cost. However, in recent years, due to the decrease in incoming water, news of power cuts in Yunnan has continued, which has significantly affected the release of production capacity in the industry.
A reporter from Securities Times·e Company interviewed several industry analysts and learned that the power cut in Yunnan is still affected by the lack of local water supply, and the possibility of other regions following the power cut is not ruled out. At present, there is no timetable for the duration of power cuts, and the production capacity of the industries involved has been reduced.
Yunnan cuts electricity again.
As a large hydropower province in China, the installed capacity of Yunnan hydropower ranks second in the country. At present, among the top ten hydropower stations in the country, there are seven in Yunnan. In 2022, the power generation capacity of Yunnan Province will be 374.794 billion kwh, of which hydropower generation will reach 303.882 billion kwh. However, the nature of hydropower "depending on the weather" makes the local power supply unstable and difficult to change.
