DIVIDEND: TRP: Transpower pays 2012/13 final dividend of $137 million

Transpower has today paid to its shareholder a final dividend for the 2012/13
financial year of $137 million.

This brings the total dividend for the 2012/13 financial year to $294.7
million after an interim dividend of $92 million in March 2013 and a special
dividend of $65.7 million in June 2013 following the sale of d-cypha Trade.

Transpower announced the final dividend payment with its annual results on 16
August 2013.
