Nice buying, in a tough market, but anyone who has a long term view is going to do very well out of this IMO.

I think the additional benefit of this deal is that by showing that their engineering and offtake partner are also willing to invest in the entity itself, gives credence to the technology and value of the project so that for some Australian funds this may actually be the factor that allow them to kick in some funds when asked in the near future, especially if it is on the back of other offtake news. The lack of leadership and forethought amongst the Australian Institutional Investment community is breathtaking, but I now suspect that within 3 to 6 months we will see a couple of big names come to the party.
