This is my very simplified understanding - delays to financing put investors off as milestones were missed. Eg securing finance and production timeline got pushed back 12+ months so I assume short term traders got bored and exited.
I have held and accumularted this stock since August/Sept 2018 and it flatlined for ages then picks up with each whiff of good news, primarily financing, locking in off-take agreements etc, then tanks again. They needed $88m and have finally got it - hoping this stabilises the SP but still many hoops to jump through before production and profit.
