No, Santos is running out of resources. They need to get Dorado up and running ASAP. They (KG) have said this a few times already. Its the reason they are investing a quarter of a billion dollar this year, in the appraisal programs.
As to as good as it gets, no I don't agree - we still have a few monster surprises. It might not be the same as last year, that is going up 700%, but IMHO, it will go up to 80 cents plus. JIMHO of course.
Last year was different as we were starting from a low base, with low expectations - we all thought we would find gas, but found oil. That was the big surprise.
Any way, the market is behaving in a similar pattern to last year: a pop, follow by a pullback, follow by a slow climb, before another pop, etc.
Lets hope for the best.
