The initial announcement on D2 was positive but we will not know how positive until the next update.
The market has taken it as very positive. Hope we are not brought down to earth by the next update.
It will be important to also understand how much gas there is with the oil. The capital expenditure is considerably higher to produce the gas in the case where the gas cannot be reinjected back into the reservoir ( ie where doing so will damage the reservoir).
Great news that the 3D has commenced because there was a risk that it would not be undertaken this year.
We have not had an update on Buffalo so I wonder if we have not received a farm for the right terms. If that is the case Buffalo will unlikely be drilled until Dorado is financed and producing. I hope this is not the case as I would prefer CVN to drill the first well themselves in the event the farm in terms are not right.
