Note that they cant drill any more beyond D1 as they'll end up in the canyon side & off-structure. Hence the need to drill downdip & establish the net/gross oil pay and OWC.
As such these beds are a classic 'truncated strata' trap against the Canyon wall, which makes Apus on the other shoulder side of the Canyon an interesting prospect for future drilling. D1 was updip & D2 is located 2.2 kms downdip so they'll update their model once more info becomes available from the corelab in the future & WL logs.
